Why is a CPA Worth It?

If you are thinking about becoming an accountant, then a CPA is worth it. If you are thinking about a career in finance, such as a financial planner, finance recruiting, banking, then it probably wouldn’t hurt to get a CPA license either. It is tough getting a CPA license, and you might have to make a few sacrifices to get it, but it will be worth it. The more you work for something, the sweeter it becomes once you achieve it. So, if you are thinking of getting a CPA qualification, then you can check out this CPA exam score release schedule here to give you a bit more information about what happens next.

Money, Money, Money!

This one might not be everyone’s reason to get a CPA license, however, getting a bit more money certainly never hurt anyone and it will definitely make your life a bit easier in the future. The reason that you’ll get that little bit of extra money is because if you are planning to put in hundreds of credit hours that you took part in and not forgetting the experience that you would have received from doing a CPA, then you are, of course, going to receive a fantastic bonus!

The more work experience you gain, the higher up your salary will go. According to Payscale, the average CPA earns around $65,000 a year! This number will keep on growing when you gain more experience, so if you are interested in getting a high salary and are willing to put in some hours, then doing a CPA is worth it.

You’ll Get that Promotion

It’s not just a good salary that you’ll get, but you’ll also find that you will easily get the promotion that you’ve always wanted. If you don’t have a CPA, then it can take years for you to work your way to the top of the ladder. By getting a CPA, you can easily avoid the wait as you will have proved to your boss that you are willing to take on anything. Getting a CPA license is no easy feat. So, if you do manage to pass it then it will show your boss how determined and hard working you actually are.

You’ll be in High Demand

Getting a new job will never be so easy. You’ll be in high demand since every business needs a CPA. You won’t have to worry about finding another job again, as companies will just want to hire you. Furthermore, you are essentially fire-proof as companies won’t want to fire you. This means that you will have one of the most secure careers ever. Since you are in such high demand though, it also means that you can do whatever you want. If you don’t want to stay in the corporate world, then you can break free and have a solo career. You are in charge of your own life now, so you can easily start up your own business if you wanted to.

The opportunities are endless once you pass the CPA exam. It will be hard work, but your hard work will change your life for the better. Don’t be put off by the long hours, just think about how much you will be rewarded in the future. If you want to progress further in your careers as an accountant, then you can check out this article here about the top skills that accountants need to develop.
